When we study, we think about what kind of career we will choose for the future. Then the question that comes to our mind is which is better and more secure as a career. Government job or freelancing career? Let's try to understand the difference rationally.

1) Skill Acquisition: It is not possible to get a government job as a student but it is possible to earn income by freelancing. Because there is no such thing as having to finish studies to be a freelancer, that is, there is no barrier to freelancing as a student. It takes a lot of study at least a year to pass the government job exam after graduation. After working hard for a year, only 1 percent, or a small number of people, get government jobs. This means that if you spend a year behind a government job, there is a 99 percent chance that you will not get a job. However, freelancing can take up to a year to complete both learning and getting a job. But in the same way that you study hard for a government job, if you study and practice for freelancing for 12 hours every day for three months, then you will be able to learn high skilled level work.

2) Income: If you get a government job, can you earn more than a freelancer? A government official initially gets a salary of only 30 to 40 thousand rupees. It is not easy to get a job at the beginning of freelancing, but if you stick with it, you will start getting a job. A freelancer may not earn much in the first few months. But you can increase your experience by doing small things for 2 to 3 months. If you gain experience and skills by doing retail work, you can get a job in a big foreign company. The minimum wage for a permanent job is at least ১২ 1200 or about one lakh rupees. In the European-American economic context it is a low wage. But in the context of our country it may seem much more. After 1 year, the salary in a government job does not double, but if you work 12 hours a day and accept freelancing as your only occupation in life, then your income will continue to double for 6 consecutive months, that is, you can earn more than one lakh rupees per month. If you stick to it, the salary will continue to increase. Thus, after two years, if you can become a top rated freelancer, you will be able to earn more than 2 lakh rupees per month. But you don't just have to dream. You have to work 12 hours a day like a job following the right guidelines.

3) Job Security: In the case of government jobs, an employee is dismissed for various reasons. No matter how secure a government job is, a government employee can be the victim of office politics or conspiracy for political reasons. But if you are a skilled freelancer, you have the skills and experience then there will be no shortage of your work. Leaving a job can get you a well-paying job. Millions of companies from around 200 countries around the world provide freelancing jobs. So freelancing is much more secure than government jobs.

4) Pension: You may now say that if you do all government jobs you will get a pension but there is no pension with freelancing. After completing the government job, you will get a one-time estimate of Rs 50 lakh and a monthly lifetime pension. But think about it, you don't have to bother to get the government job that you will get to get this pension. Not everyone gets a government job in such a competition. But if you are a successful freelancer, you can use your skills to save a lot more than 50 million. And if you open a pension scheme with a small amount of money every month, your bank will give you a lifetime pension which will be more than the government pension.

5) Halal earnings: Corruption and irregularities occur in government jobs at different times. A government employee often has to work against his will, against his conscience but in freelancing you can live your life independently and with 100% honesty with halal income. No one here can force you to act against your conscience.

6) Frustration: In the hope of getting a government job, many people become destitute by selling their last resources. News of their frustrated lives is heard. But freelancing will never require your big mama or little mama. Never pay someone unjustly. Knowledge and skills are the first and last thing here.

7) Part-time work: You may not be able to do government job besides studying but you can do freelancing as a part time business. This will allow you to cover your own expenses as a student and send money to your family.

8) Social Respect: Even a few years ago, people did not know or understand much about financing. But now the government, the way the media is encouraging freelancing, now the common man gives a freelancer the status of an intellectual. If someone wants to know your identity, you can introduce yourself to them as an employee of a foreign or American organization. Anyone will understand that you are not ordinary but extraordinary.

9) Contribution to solving the problem of unemployment: A professional freelancer gets many job orders. When he becomes more efficient he starts to get a lot more work. There is a time when it is not possible for him to do so much alone. He then formed a team of 10 to 15 people and worked at a large corporate level. Even now, skilled freelancers are helping young people become self-sufficient by teaching them freelancing. In this way they are playing a huge role in solving the problem of unemployment.

10) Whether freelancing will stop: Our online dependence is increasing day by day. Every day millions of companies around the world are working online without having to work directly in the office because it greatly reduces the cost of the company. Basically, foreign companies have introduced this system for the purpose of employing people from different countries for less money. If it closes, countless institutions in developed countries will suffer losses and close down. Even if all the people of Bangladesh do freelancing, jobs will not decrease or salaries will not decrease but will increase. This is because companies in about 200 countries offer freelancing jobs and the number of freelancing opportunities created each year does not increase. If 100 new posts are created, the number of freelancers will increase to 5. Freelancers here only mean those who can work professionally. So day by day both the salary and demand of freelancer is increasing. Even three years ago, the initial income of freelancers was 5 to 6 thousand rupees and now it is 20 thousand rupees. Then you guess the future.
